"Self-portrait" Original Artwork

The Story: This painting represents a special moment of truth for the Artist who found inspiration straight from her heART. While going through turmoil in her life, she found her strength by walking straight ahead (seeing the light represented here by the white and yellow shades) and leaving the sadness and disappointment behind (represented by the dark red and black colors grabbing her feet). Thinking though there will always be hard moments in life (the rain drops represented by the gray shades around her), arming herself with her experiences and knowledge (represented by the umbrella using the same strong dark reds and blacks) to conquer her journey with love and peace.
